Maybe you could do another podcast on films about (not just featuring in the background) classical music/musicians.
“A last quartet” – which was also one of Philip Seymour Hoffman’s last films – springs to mind. Slightly melodramatic story there but good vibes about the power of music.

Yes, we saw “A Late Quartet” in the theater and really enjoyed it, despite some eye-rolling moments!
Thanks for another entertaining podcast. I laughed when you mentioned the character Ed Rooney, Dean of Students in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. That film was a solid part of my teenage years and I imagine his voice now saying “Nine times…” every time I have to learn some new repertoire on the violin, as that is the magic number of repetitions for me to embed tricky music in my system.
